Located in David City, NE, the Meal Support Program, an initiative of Project HEAL, provides essential meal support for individuals over the age of 16 who are navigating the outpatient stage of eating disorder recovery. Our program offers a warm and welcoming environment through live, virtual drop-in group meals, allowing participants to consume nutrition alongside others, fostering community and understanding. With sessions available four times daily, including two lunch and two dinner times, participants have the flexibility to attend as their schedules allow, maximizing their support during the recovery process. Each meal support session is skillfully facilitated by nutrition practitioners from the Clinician’s Incubator training program, who are actively working towards their CNS certification, ensuring that participants receive expert guidance in a safe space. While we focus on providing meal support, it’s important to note that this program is not a crisis intervention service.
