The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship located in Doniphan, NE, is dedicated to training and empowering passionate individuals to become advocates for a just food system that is socially, environmentally, and economically sustainable. By offering a tuition-free program, we ensure that everyone has the opportunity to engage in comprehensive organic food system education. Our Fellows participate in a six-month immersive experience at our Allegheny Farm Campus, where they learn to grow and distribute diverse crops, implement educational health initiatives, maintain community gardens, and integrate food and ecological literacy into local schools. After their training, Fellows embark on a Community Action Year to apply their skills by collaborating with regional non-profit organizations, promoting access to healthy foods through farmers markets, mentorship, and community food coalition activities. We invite individuals committed to making a difference to apply by March for a transformative experience running from May to October.
