The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Eagle, NE, empowers passionate individuals to become leaders in the movement for a fair and sustainable food system. Through comprehensive training, participants gain valuable skills in organic food systems education and community engagement. Selected Fellows dive into a transformative six-month experiential study at the Allegheny Farm Campus, where they cultivate diversified crops, implement innovative educational programs, and support local farmers markets. Our mission is to foster a socially, environmentally, and economically just food system, with a strong focus on accessibility, as we do not charge tuition for our training. After their initial training, Fellows engage in a Community Action Year, applying their knowledge in partnership with regional non-profit organizations. Applications are open until March each year, with experiences running from May through October.
