Located in Elwood, Nebraska, the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program is dedicated to fostering healthier food choices and lifestyles among low-income mothers, infants, and children up to five years old. Our program offers essential services such as nutrition education, access to supplemental foods, breastfeeding promotion and support, and important referrals for health care. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Nebraska WIC has adapted by providing support to families without requiring in-person visits, ensuring that even those experiencing temporary financial changes can still qualify for assistance.
