Nebraska WIC in Gibbon is dedicated to promoting healthy food habits among low-income pregnant and postpartum women, as well as infants and children up to five years of age. Through our Women, Infants, and Children Supplemental Food Program, we provide essential services such as nutrition education, supplemental food assistance, breastfeeding support, and referrals for healthcare resources. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we continue to ensure families have access to nutritious foods without the need for in-person visits, making it easier for eligible families to participate even with temporary changes in income. At Nebraska WIC, we believe that every child deserves a healthy start in life, and we are committed to helping families thrive by providing the support they need.
