The MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans in Gothenburg, NE, through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to annually screen every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity, ensuring they are guided towards appropriate weight management resources. MOVE! offers a variety of flexible treatment options tailored to meet the unique needs and preferences of each Veteran, including supportive group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE!, which provides in-home messaging and clinician support. For those who prefer a self-directed approach, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available, along with access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who may require further assistance.
