Nebraska WIC, located in Gothenburg, NE, is dedicated to improving the health of low-income pregnant and postpartum women, infants, and children up to five years old through our comprehensive Women, Infants, and Children Supplemental Food Program. We provide essential nutrition education, supplemental food assistance, breastfeeding promotion and support, as well as crucial referrals for health care. In response to the ongoing challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, Nebraska WIC continues to support families by ensuring access to healthy foods, with no in-person visits required at this time. It's important to note that even temporary changes in income may still allow many families to qualify for our program, reaffirming our commitment to the well-being of our community's youngest members.
