Nebraska WIC, located in Hickman, NE, is dedicated to fostering healthy food practices among low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Through our Women, Infants, and Children Supplemental Food Program, we offer vital services including nutrition education, access to nutritious supplemental foods, breastfeeding promotion and support, and referrals for essential health care. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we continue to assist families in obtaining healthy food, with flexible service options that do not require in-person visits. Even families experiencing temporary income changes may still qualify for our program, ensuring that we are here for the community when it matters most.
