Located in Hickman, NE, the MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to improving the health and wellness of Veterans through tailored weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is screened annually for obesity and directed to the most suitable weight management resources. We offer a variety of options, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and the innovative TeleMOVE! for personalized in-home support. For Veterans who prefer self-management, our MOVE! Coach mobile app is an excellent tool, while those needing more intensive support can access weight loss medications and bariatric surgery if previous efforts haven’t achieved desired outcomes.
