About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Lexington, NE, is dedicated to cultivating a new generation of advocates committed to creating a food system that is equitable, sustainable, and just. This innovative program offers training and support for Fellows to engage actively with their communities, focusing on organic food system education. Through hands-on experience at our farm, participants learn to grow and distribute diverse crops, implement health-focused educational programs, maintain community gardens, and enhance ecological literacy in schools. Our initiative fosters collaboration with local non-profit organizations, empowering Fellows to mentor future leaders as they work to increase access to healthy food and support local farmers' markets. We believe in making this opportunity accessible; therefore, there is no tuition cost for the Fellowship. Applications are accepted until March each year, with immersive experiences running from May through October.
