The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Milford, NE, is dedicated to cultivating a new generation of leaders who advocate for a food system centered on social, environmental, and economic justice. Through a comprehensive, tuition-free training program, our Fellows engage in hands-on organic farming at the Allegheny Farm and connect with local communities, promoting sustainable practices and equitable access to healthy food. Our Fellowship empowers participants to implement initiatives that range from community gardening and farmers market support to educational programming focused on food and ecological literacy. Each Fellow experiences six months of immersive learning followed by a Community Action Year, where they collaborate with regional non-profits to effect meaningful change. Applications are welcomed until March each year, with the program running from May through October, inviting passionate individuals to play a vital role in shaping resilient food systems that benefit everyone.
