The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Morrill, NE, is dedicated to cultivating a new generation of advocates for sustainable food systems that prioritize social, environmental, and economic justice. Our fellowship program empowers participants through hands-on, experiential learning at the Allegheny Farm Campus. Here, selected Fellows engage in organic food system education, allowing them to acquire the skills necessary to grow and distribute diverse crops on a market-style farm, implement innovative health care education, and enhance community engagement through school gardens and farmers markets. With no tuition fees, we ensure that our program is accessible to all aspiring advocates. The fellowship spans six months, followed by a Community Action Year, where Fellows apply their training in partnership with regional non-profits, furthering our mission to increase access to healthy foods and support community food initiatives. Aspiring Fellows are encouraged to submit their applications by March each year, with the program running from May to October.
