Nebraska WIC, located in Neligh, NE, is dedicated to supporting the nutritional needs of low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and young children up to five years old. Our mission is to foster healthy food habits through essential services such as nutrition education, provision of supplemental foods, breastfeeding promotion, and health care referrals. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have adapted our services to ensure accessibility, eliminating the need for in-person visits while continuing to provide families with emergency food assistance. We encourage all eligible families, even those experiencing temporary changes in income, to reach out and discover how we can support their nutritional needs.
