Nebraska WIC, located in Omaha, NE, is dedicated to supporting low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old, by promoting healthy food habits and nutrition education. Our program provides essential services, including access to supplemental foods, breastfeeding promotion and support, as well as referrals for healthcare, ensuring that families receive comprehensive assistance. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we have adapted to continue providing our vital food assistance services without the need for in-person visits, recognizing that even temporary changes in income may qualify families for our program. We are here to ensure that every family can access the nutrition they need for a healthy start in life.
