MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Oneill, NE, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion strategies. Our mission focuses on screening every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity, connecting individuals to tailored weight management services, and providing a range of treatment options that suit the unique needs of our Veterans. We offer a variety of care options, including engaging group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and the innovative TeleMOVE! program, which allows for in-home messaging and clinician support. Additionally, the MOVE! Coach mobile app gives Veterans the flexibility to manage their weight independently. For those who need additional support, we offer weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who have not achieved their goals with MOVE! We encourage anyone interested in weight management to reach out to their local MOVE! Coordinator or VA provider to start their journey toward better health.
