At Nebraska WIC in Plattsmouth, we are dedicated to fostering healthy food habits among low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, along with infants and children up to five years old. Our mission revolves around empowering families with nutrition education, providing essential supplemental foods, offering breastfeeding promotion and support, and facilitating referrals for comprehensive health care services. During the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, Nebraska WIC continues to ensure that families have access to the nutritious foods they need, with the flexibility of remote services that eliminate the need for in-person visits.
