Based in Schuyler, NE, Nebraska WIC is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of low-income pregnant and postpartum women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Our Women, Infants, and Children Supplemental Food Program provides critical food assistance, nutrition education, breastfeeding support, and essential referrals for health care, ensuring that families receive the resources they need to thrive. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we have adapted our services to continue supporting families with healthy food options, no longer requiring in-person visits.
