Nebraska WIC is dedicated to empowering low-income families in Scottsbluff, NE, by promoting healthy nutrition for pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Our program offers essential services including nutrition education, access to supplemental foods, breastfeeding support, and healthcare referrals to ensure families receive the assistance they need. In response to the ongoing challenges posed by COVID-19, we have adapted our services to continue providing support without requiring in-person visits. We believe that even temporary changes in income should not hinder families from accessing healthy food and resources, allowing us to positively impact the lives of those we serve in our community.
