The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Seward, NE, is dedicated to transforming the food landscape by empowering individuals to become advocates for an equitable food system. Our program offers comprehensive education in organic farming and food systems, ensuring accessibility through a tuition-free model. Selected Fellows engage in six months of hands-on, experiential learning at our farm, followed by a Community Action Year where they apply their knowledge in partnership with regional non-profits. Our initiatives include growing diversified crops, running educational sessions on health care innovations, maintaining community gardens, and supporting farmers markets. We also focus on enhancing access to healthy foods and building food literacy within schools and communities. With a commitment to social, environmental, and economic justice, we are passionate about nurturing the next generation of food leaders.
