The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Stanton, NE, is dedicated to nurturing a new generation of advocates for a just and sustainable food system. Through comprehensive training and hands-on experience, our Fellows learn to promote socially, environmentally, and economically equitable practices in food production and education. The program is designed to ensure accessibility, providing tuition-free participation that empowers individuals to engage with their communities effectively. Over a transformative six-month residency at our Allegheny Farm Campus, Fellows gain expertise in organic food systems, develop innovative educational programs, and collaborate with local partners to enhance food access. Activities may include growing and distributing diverse crops, managing community gardens, and mentoring future leaders. Applications are accepted until March each year, with the fellowship running from May to October, allowing participants to make a real impact through their Community Action Year.
