About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Tekamah, NE is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of advocates for a food system that is just, sustainable, and accessible for all. Our program empowers selected Fellows through hands-on training and experiential learning at our Allegheny Farm Campus, where they gain comprehensive knowledge in organic food systems, food literacy, and community agriculture. Fellows actively engage in transformative projects that include cultivating diverse crops, leading educational initiatives in schools, supporting farmers markets, and integrating food accessibility strategies to benefit their communities. We believe in promoting accessibility, which is why our Fellowship does not require tuition. Join us in fostering a more equitable food future by applying to our program, with applications due by March each year. The fellowship experience typically runs from May to October, making a significant impact in both agricultural practices and community health.
