MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Valentine, NE, is dedicated to enhancing the health and wellness of Veterans through a comprehensive weight management and health promotion initiative. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran visiting VA facilities is screened annually for obesity and provided with tailored referrals to weight management services that align with their individual needs and preferences. We offer a multitude of support options, including engaging group sessions, personalized telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE!, which allows for convenient in-home messaging and clinician support. For those who prefer a self-guided approach, the MOVE! Coach mobile app provides valuable resources and tools. Additionally, we offer weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who may need alternative solutions after attempting the MOVE! program.
