Nebraska WIC is dedicated to fostering the health and well-being of low-income families in Waterloo, NE, by providing essential food assistance and nutrition education focused on pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Our program offers supplemental foods, breastfeeding support, and vital referrals for health care to ensure families thrive during their crucial developmental years. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we continue to extend our services, allowing families to access healthy foods without the need for in-person visits. We believe that even temporary changes in income should not hinder access to nutrition, and we encourage all eligible families to reach out and explore their options for support through our program.
