The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship, located in Wilber, NE, is dedicated to nurturing a new generation of advocates and educators committed to building a just, sustainable food system. We provide comprehensive training and hands-on experiences that empower our Fellows with the knowledge and skills to promote food security and ecological stewardship within their communities. Our program offers valuable opportunities to engage in diverse agricultural practices, work alongside local partners to grow and distribute organic crops, and facilitate educational initiatives centered on food and ecological literacy. We strive to enhance access to healthy foods via farmers markets and community garden projects, fostering connections with regional non-profit organizations. Through a six-month residential program followed by a Community Action Year, our Fellows apply their learning in meaningful ways.
