Nebraska WIC, located in Winnebago, NE, is dedicated to fostering healthy food habits for low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children from birth to five years old. Our essential Women, Infants, and Children Supplemental Food Program offers nutrition education, supplemental foods, breastfeeding support, and health care referrals to ensure families receive the assistance they need. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have adapted to serve families virtually, allowing access to nutritious foods without the need for in-person visits. Even during temporary income changes, families may still qualify for vital support through our program.
