About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Berlin, NH, is dedicated to cultivating the next generation of leaders who champion a food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic justice. Through an accessible, tuition-free program, we empower Fellows to gain hands-on experience in organic food system education and community engagement. Over a six-month immersive experience at our Allegheny Farm Campus, selected individuals will learn to grow and distribute diverse crops, foster community gardens, and integrate food literacy into educational settings. Our Fellows also collaborate with regional non-profits during their Community Action Year, helping to boost local food access, support farmers markets, and engage in various initiatives aimed at building resilient food networks. Applications are accepted until March each year, with program activities running from May to October, creating real change in local communities while inspiring a healthier food future.
