The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship, based in Brookline, NH, is dedicated to nurturing a new generation of advocates for a just and sustainable food system. Through in-depth training and hands-on experience, our Fellows learn to promote social, environmental, and economic justice in food production and distribution. We proudly offer this program without tuition fees to ensure accessibility for all aspiring leaders. Over the course of six months at our Allegheny Farm Campus, Fellows engage in organic food system education, grow and distribute diverse crops, maintain community gardens, and enhance food literacy in educational settings. They also support local farmers markets and work to improve access to nutritious food through innovative community partnerships. The Fellowship culminates in a Community Action Year, where participants apply their knowledge and skills by collaborating with regional non-profits. Applications are open until March for experiences that typically run from May to October, empowering individuals to create a healthier and more equitable food landscape.
