About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Campton, NH, is dedicated to cultivating a new generation of leaders who advocate for a just and sustainable food system. This program sponsors and empowers Fellows through comprehensive organic food system education, focusing on social, environmental, and economic justice. Our approach is rooted in accessibility, as we do not charge tuition for participation. Fellows engage in a transformative six-month experiential learning opportunity at the Allegheny Farm, where they grow diversified crops, run educational programs, and maintain community gardens. Following this immersive study, participants embark on a Community Action Year, collaborating with regional non-profits to enhance food access and build healthy communities. We invite individuals passionate about food equity to apply by March each year, with experiences typically running from May to October.
