The Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Program in Concord, NH, is dedicated to fostering healthy food habits among low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Our mission is to provide essential nutrition education and supplemental foods that enhance the well-being of families in need. We also promote breastfeeding through support initiatives and facilitate referrals to other vital social services. At age three, children benefit from Fit WIC kits that encourage daily physical activity, while some of our locations offer free oral health screenings, including fluoride treatments and educational resources for maintaining good oral health. WIC is committed to ensuring that every mother and child in our community receives the care and resources they deserve.
