About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship
The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Contoocook, NH, provides a unique opportunity for aspiring leaders to learn and advocate for a just food system through hands-on experience and education in sustainable practices. Our program empowers Fellows to delve into organic food system education while promoting accessibility by charging no tuition fees. Throughout their six-month immersive residency at the Allegheny Farm Campus, participants will engage in diverse agricultural initiatives, including the production and distribution of crops, educational workshops, and community gardening projects. Fellows can also support local farmers markets and direct-to-consumer programs, fostering community resilience and food security. Following their residency, they will spend a Community Action Year applied to regional non-profit partnerships, ensuring their training translates into meaningful impact. We invite those passionate about food equity and sustainable agriculture to apply by March each year, with the Fellowship running from May to October.
