The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Enfield, NH, offers a transformative opportunity for individuals passionate about creating a food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic justice. Our program sponsors and trains dedicated Fellows to become educators and advocates, all while providing free access to our comprehensive organic food system education. Over a six-month immersive experience at our Allegheny Farm Campus, participants engage in hands-on learning and apply their skills during a Community Action Year, collaborating with local non-profit organizations. Our Fellows dive deep into vital activities such as cultivating diverse crops, implementing health-focused educational initiatives, maintaining school and community gardens, and enhancing food literacy programs. By supporting local farmers markets and building distribution channels for healthier food access, our Fellowship fosters a community-centered approach to food assistance and advocacy. We encourage applicants to submit their materials by March to join us for an impactful experience from May to October each year.
