About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship
The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Goffstown, NH is dedicated to training and empowering individuals to advocate for a food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic justice. By promoting accessibility, the program offers a tuition-free education in organic food systems, ensuring that passionate Fellows can focus on meaningful learning and impactful work. Over the course of six months at the Allegheny Farm Campus, participants engage in hands-on training while gaining the skills necessary to grow and distribute diversified crops, implement innovative health education, and maintain community gardens. The Fellowship also fosters the development of food literacy in schools and supports local farmers' markets. After their immersive experience, Fellows embark on a Community Action Year, collaborating with regional non-profit organizations to apply their knowledge and continue their impact within the community. Applications are accepted until March each year, with experiences running from May through October.
