About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Greenland, NH, nurtures passionate individuals dedicated to fostering a food system that is socially, environmentally, and economically just. Through our commitment to accessible education, we sponsor, train, and empower Fellows to become advocates and educators for sustainable farming practices. Participants engage in hands-on experiences at the Allegheny Farm, where they learn crucial skills in organic food systems, support local farmers markets, and implement community-driven food initiatives. This transformative program includes a rigorous six-month residency followed by a year of community action, allowing Fellows to apply their knowledge with local non-profit partners. We believe in the power of food education and grassroots advocacy to create healthier, more equitable communities. Applications are accepted until March each year, with the fellowship running from May to October, providing an opportunity for meaningful impact in food assistance and community resilience.
