The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Hampstead, NH, is dedicated to cultivating a new generation of leaders committed to fostering a just, sustainable food system. Our program empowers selected Fellows through comprehensive, hands-on education focused on organic food systems, equipping them to become effective advocates for social, environmental, and economic equity in food production and distribution. We prioritize accessibility by offering this fellowship at no cost, encouraging participation from diverse backgrounds. Throughout a transformative six-month residency at the Allegheny Farm Campus, Fellows engage in experiential learning while collaborating on real-world projects, such as maintaining community gardens, supporting farmers markets, and enhancing food literacy in schools. Following this, Fellows dedicate a Community Action Year, partnering with local non-profits to apply their knowledge and expand access to healthy foods in their communities. Applications for this life-changing fellowship are open until March each year, with the program running from May to October.
