The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship, located in Hanover, NH, is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of advocates for a just food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic fairness. Through a no-cost tuition model, this transformative fellowship empowers individuals to engage in hands-on learning, offering comprehensive education in organic food systems. Selected Fellows will immerse themselves in a six-month experiential program at AMI’s Allegheny Farm Campus, where they'll gain practical skills in growing and distributing diversified crops, leading educational sessions on innovative healthcare, and developing community gardens. These Fellows will also support initiatives such as farmers markets, direct-to-consumer food programs, and mentoring future cohorts. Following their training, they will embark on a Community Action Year, collaborating with local non-profits to amplify access to healthy food in the Hanover area and beyond. Applications for this impactful program are accepted until March each year, with the fellowship experience running from May to October.
