About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship
The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship, based in Jaffrey, NH, is dedicated to cultivating a new generation of leaders who are passionate about creating a fair and sustainable food system. Through comprehensive training and hands-on experiences, our Fellows learn to advocate for environmental, social, and economic justice in food production. Our program offers free tuition, ensuring that accessibility remains a priority. Participants engage in organic food system education, grow and distribute a variety of crops, and lead innovative community health initiatives. They also maintain school and community gardens, promote food and ecological literacy, and support local farmers markets. After completing a six-month residency at the Allegheny Farm Campus, Fellows embark on a year of community action, collaborating with regional non-profit organizations to bring their training to life. Applications are accepted until March each year for a transformative experience running from May to October.
