About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship
The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Keene, NH, is dedicated to cultivating a new generation of advocates and educators for a fair, sustainable, and thriving food system. Our program offers comprehensive training in organic food systems, empowering Fellows to engage in impactful community initiatives. Participants benefit from hands-on experience at the Allegheny Farm in Highland County, VA, where they will grow and distribute diverse crops, implement innovative educational sessions in health care, and enhance local food access through community gardens and farmers markets. By emphasizing food and ecological literacy, our Fellows are equipped to make a significant difference in their communities. This transformative six-month experiential Fellowship, followed by a Community Action Year, encourages collaboration with regional non-profits to foster lasting change in local food systems. Applications are accepted until March each year, with the program spanning from May to October.
