About Women, Infants and Children (WIC)
Located in Keene, NH, the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program is dedicated to fostering healthy nutrition and well-being for low-income families, specifically pregnant women, new mothers, and children up to five years old. Our mission is to provide essential food assistance through supplemental healthy foods, comprehensive nutrition education, and dedicated breastfeeding promotion and support. We also offer valuable referrals to additional social services that enhance family health. To encourage physical activity, we provide Fit WIC kits for children at age three, along with resources to support active lifestyles. In some locations, we further support families by offering free oral health screenings, fluoride treatments, sealants, and education on maintaining good oral hygiene. At WIC, we are committed to empowering families with the tools they need for a healthy future.
