About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship
The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Lancaster, NH is dedicated to training and empowering individuals to become passionate advocates for a sustainable and equitable food system. This unique program offers an immersive, six-month residential experience at the Allegheny Farm, where selected Fellows gain hands-on knowledge in organic farming practices, healthy food distribution, and community engagement initiatives. By fostering partnerships with regional non-profits, participants learn to implement educational programs, support local farmers' markets, and promote food and ecological literacy, making nutritious food more accessible to everyone. With no tuition fees, the Fellowship prioritizes accessibility and inclusion, encouraging a diverse range of individuals to contribute to a just food system. Applications are accepted until March each year, with the fellowship running from May through October, equipping the next generation of community food advocates with the skills needed to effect positive change.
