The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Lee, NH, is dedicated to cultivating a new generation of leaders in sustainable agriculture and food systems. Through our comprehensive, tuition-free program, we empower Fellows with practical experience in organic food system education, ensuring they are well-prepared to champion a food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic justice. Our Fellows engage in diverse activities, including growing and distributing crops, implementing educational sessions that innovate health care, maintaining community gardens, and enhancing food literacy in schools. Additionally, we support local farmers' markets and direct-to-consumer initiatives, facilitating increased access to healthy foods for our communities. After a six-month immersive learning experience at the Allegheny Farm Campus, our Fellows transition into a Community Action Year, collaborating with regional non-profit organizations to apply their training and extend their impact. Applications are accepted until March, with experiences typically running from May through October each year.
