About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship
The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship based in Litchfield, NH, is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of advocates and educators committed to building a socially, environmentally, and economically just food system. Through hands-on training and experiential learning, our Fellows engage in organic food system education and practical projects such as growing diversified crops, maintaining community gardens, and supporting local farmers markets. This impactful program provides selected participants with comprehensive training for six months at the Allegheny Farm Campus, followed by a Community Action Year where they collaborate with regional non-profit organizations to implement innovative food distribution and educational initiatives. We believe in making our Fellowship accessible for all by not charging tuition, and we invite passionate individuals to apply by March each year for an enriching summer experience that fosters food justice, ecological literacy, and community empowerment.
