About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship
The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Littleton, NH, is dedicated to nurturing a new generation of advocates and educators committed to creating a food system that is socially, environmentally, and economically just. Through comprehensive training at the Allegheny Farm in Highland County, VA, our Fellows gain invaluable hands-on experience in organic food systems, diversified crop production, and innovative community engagement. This tuition-free program ensures accessibility, allowing participants to implement educational initiatives, support community gardens, promote food literacy in schools, and enhance local food access through farmers markets and direct-to-consumer models. Over a six-month immersive residency and an additional Community Action Year, selected Fellows collaborate with regional non-profits to apply their knowledge and empower their communities. Applications are accepted until March, with the program running from May to October, as we work together to strengthen our food systems for the benefit of all.
