About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

Located in Londonderry, NH, the Farm & Food Systems Fellowship is dedicated to fostering a food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic justice. By sponsoring, training, and empowering passionate individuals, we cultivate a new generation of advocates for sustainable food practices. Our program offers comprehensive organic food system education and encourages Fellows to collaborate with local partners to grow and distribute diverse crops, maintain community gardens, and enhance food and ecological literacy in schools. We focus on supporting local farmers markets and direct-to-consumer programs, ensuring broader access to healthy foods. Over the course of six months at our Allegheny Farm Campus, selected Fellows gain hands-on experience before engaging in a Community Action Year, where they implement their training with regional non-profits. We believe in making this transformative experience accessible, as we do not charge tuition for our program, helping to empower individuals committed to making a difference in their communities. Applications are due by March for our May to October fellowship cycle.
