About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship
The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Nashua, NH, is dedicated to empowering the next generation of advocates for a just food system through hands-on training and education. Our Fellowship welcomes participants to engage in organic food system education, offering unique opportunities to grow and distribute diverse crops, implement innovative health care educational sessions, and maintain community gardens. We aim to enhance food accessibility by supporting farmers markets and developing distribution channels for healthy foods, all while integrating food and ecological literacy into schools. Over a transformative six-month experience at our Allegheny Farm Campus, selected Fellows immerse themselves in practical learning and community involvement, followed by a Community Action Year where they apply their skills alongside local non-profits. We believe in promoting accessibility to this vital education, as we do not charge tuition for our program. Interested applicants should apply by March to join our impactful initiative, which typically runs from May to October each year.
