About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship
The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Nottingham, NH, is dedicated to cultivating the next generation of advocates for an equitable and sustainable food system. Our program sponsors and trains Fellows to become passionate educators and community leaders focused on social, environmental, and economic justice within our food systems. Through organic food system education, our participants engage in hands-on experiences at our farm, working on projects such as growing and distributing diverse crops, facilitating educational sessions for health care innovation, maintaining community gardens, and promoting food literacy in schools. With no tuition required, we prioritize accessibility and empower Fellows to create a meaningful impact during their intensive six-month residential program, followed by a Community Action Year, where they collaborate with local non-profit organizations to apply their knowledge. Applications are open until March each year, with the Fellows' experience running from May to October, allowing them to develop essential skills and drive positive change in their communities.
