MOVE! Weight Management Program, based in Stratham, NH, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is screened for obesity each year, providing personalized referrals to a variety of supportive weight management services tailored to meet individual needs. Our offerings include group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE!, which allows for in-home support with clinician contact when needed. For those who prefer a self-directed approach, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available, while weight loss medications and bariatric surgery are options for Veterans facing ongoing weight challenges. To participate, we encourage Veterans to speak with their local MOVE! Coordinator or VA provider and take the first step towards a healthier lifestyle.
