Teen Information for Parenting Success (TIPS) in Stratham, NH, is dedicated to empowering expectant and young parents through education and support. We provide a welcoming, nonjudgmental environment where teens can access valuable resources tailored to their unique needs. Our program features weekly meetings at schools arranged with guidance counselors or nurses, along with evening gatherings that include childcare for parents. Participants can engage in workshops covering topics such as finances, employment, baby care, and literacy, as well as specialized Dads 101 sessions. We also offer Learn and Shop nights, fun family events, and direct access to a food pantry, ensuring vital support during challenging times. Additionally, TIPS facilitates connections to community resources for housing and educational opportunities, helping young parents succeed. In response to COVID-19, we offer Zoom meetings every Wednesday from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm, providing continued support remotely to ensure accessibility for all.
