The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Wolfeboro, NH, is dedicated to nurturing future leaders in sustainable agriculture and food justice. Our program sponsors, trains, and empowers Fellows to advocate for a food system that is socially, environmentally, and economically sustainable. Through no-cost tuition, we promote accessibility and inclusivity in experiential education at our Allegheny Farm Campus in Highland County, VA. Over six months, selected Fellows engage in hands-on learning about organic food systems, working alongside partners to grow and distribute diverse crops, implement innovative health care education, sustain community gardens, and promote food literacy in schools. Following this immersive experience, Fellows participate in a Community Action Year, collaborating with regional non-profit organizations to enhance local food access and support farmers markets. Applications are accepted until March each year, with the fellowship commencing in May.
