MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Belleville, NJ, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through a multifaceted weight management and health promotion initiative. Our mission encompasses annually screening each Veteran who seeks care at our VA facilities for obesity, ensuring tailored referrals to suitable weight management services, and providing diverse treatment options that align with their needs and preferences. We offer a range of supportive resources, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, TeleMOVE! for in-home messaging, and the MOVE! Coach mobile app for those who prefer a self-directed approach. For Veterans facing ongoing challenges with weight, we also provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery.
