WIC (Women, Infants, and Children) at Northwest New Jersey Community Action Partnership in Bridgewater, NJ, is dedicated to providing essential food assistance and nutritional support to pregnant, breastfeeding, and postpartum women, as well as infants and children up to age five. Our program welcomes fathers, too, who can apply for WIC services alongside their children. We offer a comprehensive range of services including health screenings, nutrition education, and breastfeeding support from skilled lactation consultants, along with referrals to vital health and social services. Through our efforts, we aim to prevent anemia and low birth weight, ensuring that infants and children receive the key nutrients needed for healthy growth and brain development. Our participants have access to free nutritious foods such as milk, eggs, whole grain products, fruits, vegetables, and specially formulated infant foods. We are here to empower families in our community to thrive by providing the resources they need for a healthier future.
